My Favorite Lip Products

Happy Friday! Today I wanted to share some of my all-time favorite lip products. I’ve loved trying all different formulas and products that have been gifted or shared with me. Keep reading for a full list!

This is as good as it gets. The smooth formula of this hand-crafted beeswax lip balm and the cooling, minty finish is an absolute treat. My mom has been using this since forever, and the scent of it always reminds me of her. It comes in a super convenient twist-up tube and at a little under $4, it’s a steal for how good your lips will feel and look!

This yummy matcha all-over balm is so nourishing and comfy. It has a slight matcha scent, although the scent seems to differ depending on who you’re talking to. I use it as an under-eye treatment, a lip balm, and a balm for anywhere that feels dry. I’ve also been using it under my mask, since my chin and nose tend to get dry and flakey this time of year. It’s done a good god keeping everything moisturized and it even cleared up a particularly gnarly dry patch on my hand. It's also organic and only has three ingredients!

The funky and eccentric cousin: eos’s cucumber melon lip balm

This iconic lip balm is sadly not sold on eos’s site anymore, but you can still pick it up from Target or Walmart. It has a simple, nourishing, and most of all comfy finish and does a fantastic job of keeping my lips hydrated at night. Plus, the fun shape and the click-y sound of it closing is such a big addition. The scent isn’t super cucumber-y, at least, not to me, but it is on the sweeter and artificial side.

The grandma that always smells like rose perfume and powder: Smith’s Rosebud Salve

This salve is good for anything. You name it, Smith’s can do it. A quick highlight? A fun, shiny eye gloss? A dry spot? Damaged cuticles? This can do it. It comes in a cute tin that’s super hard to finish and literally lasts forever. Its main ingredient is petroleum, so it’s not what I reach for when I notice that my lips are dry, but I like how multipurpose it is. The scent is pretty powder-y and “rose” isn’t the first thing that comes to mind but I have had friends that can only smell the rose, so it’s really up to you.

The aunt with a colorful wardrobe and language: Estee Lauder’s Pure Color Long-Lasting Lipstick in Bois de Rose

You know how you watch like beauty gurus or influencers talk about their “my lips, but better” shade? This creamy, warm lipstick is mine. It’s described as a warm plum, but I think it’s more of a mix between a bright plum and a darkish pink. I’ve used it as an eyeshadow, a blush, and a lip and it looks stunning either way. It’s smooth and creamy and isn’t matte but definitely stays put. It smells vaguely like something you’d find on your grandma’s counter, but also kind of summery.

The aunt that always gives advice about anything and everything: EM Cosmetics Infinite Lip Cloud in Rose Nude

This decadent lip cream has the texture of a light lipstick, but the color payoff and lasting power is anything but. It stays put and looks amazing on the eyes (it does crease a little). The tube is a perfect size for carrying and has a gorgeous applicator- it’s curved so it fits along the curve of your lips with a precise edge. It has a scent that reminds of like, chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream frosting? Whatever it is, though, is absolutely delicious.
